Slice of Watermelon Enamel Patch (Copy)
Today (5/26) I sampled these slices of watermelons and thought they should be a part of the collection. I love them.
After seeing the horrific news coming out of Rafah, I sat back down at my bench and I proceeded to saw a dozen more slices to work on.
These watermelon enamel patches are lovingly made from scratch, with layers of enamel torch fired in a multistep process.
I think about the things I see happening on a daily basis in Gaza and the West Bank and the action of creating these have given me a much needed sense of purpose. It’s so frustrating to see the daily horrors and feel helpless, so this is just one way that I want to put myself to use.

Sew it onto your coat, hat, tote bag, etc…and always have a little bit of love on display.
The proceeds from these patches will be donated to the Middle East Children’s Alliance.
